So the girlfriend and I broke up last night.

And I am not the least bit upset by it.

It makes me intensely happy. It's like the weight of the world has been lifted off my shoulders. I almost want to hug her and say, "Thank you!" I was unhappy for a long time. She was very controlling and almost impossible to talk with. I have no idea why I stayed with her. And I'm not concerned with her at all. She has no job and no money and I'm moving out at the end of the month. (And, before I sound like some vindictive asshole, she technically broke up with me, so my conscience is clear.) I'm not going to feel bad about anything.

Finally. I feel like I move on with my life.
