I just opened up my absentee ballot for the 2004 Primary. I'm screaming and yelling "what the fuck!?!?"

I can tell you a few things about this election. Not only is it going to be 100% rigged... but they think we are retarded enough not to notice! So I've heard all the stuff about electronic voting, and decided to make sure my vote is down on paper. THat's simple enough.

Now to what's got me all pissed off. I've heard about how you have to select a party affiliation. I figured I'd select Democratic, but still vote for whichever candidate I want. No such luck. If this ballot is anything like what November's will be... we're all screwed. So i'm looking. You choose the Democratic, Republican, Libertarian, or NonPartisan ballot... and vote away. The problem??? ALL YOU CAN VOTE FOR ARE THAT PARTIES CANDIDATES! You don't have a choice to vote for the one single Republican you like because you're not given the option!!!

Here's an example:

US Senator

Republican Ballot Choices: Brad Klippert, George Nethercutt Jr, Gordon Allen Pross, Chuck Jackson, Teed Davis, and William Chovil.

Democratic Ballot Choices: Warren Hanson, Patty Murray, and Mohammad Said.

What the fuck!?!? It's like that on the entire ballot. So If I'm filling out the Democratic ballot, I can't even pick Brad Klippert if for some reason I like him? I'm so confused!!! mad

Maybe it's always been this way and I'm thinking it's been different. But this seems pretty fucked to me....

at least you're trying and that is commendable.

Reading some of ur old entries. Primaries are always party affiliation only. Only in the general election can u vote for whoever you like.
