yesterday i met my boyfriends dad and stepmom for the first time. we met at my boyfriend's tattoo shop because his dad has a lot of work from the same artist and they all wanted to say hi and catch up. it kinda took a bit of the pressure off. then we went to little saigon for lunch and a litttle bit of shopping. his stepmom is chinese and her accent is really thick. she was talking about jubilymo. she kept repeating it...
"is that jubillie-mo"?
what the fuck? know what she was saying?
she thought she saw drew barrymore
his dad has the same name as a famous comedian. it was weird. it was like saying, nice to meet you, chris rock (that's not the comedian, btw).
the bottom line is, i loved them. pretty sure they loved me.
this is good.
i'm not sad that it's monday and i have to go to work.
not sad that it's raining.
AND tonight i get to see digdug and bijoux at catpower.
