Despite it's smell of stale beer and vomit, I heart New Orleans.
Thurs: arrived at hotel in the french quarter. settle in. dinner. lap dances at the hustler club followed by a great local jazz club called 'the funky butt'. drinking. thunder and lightning. barely finding our way back to hotel.
Fri: breakfast in bed. trade show (i was there for work). the schmoozing began with our espresso vendor from italy taking us to a fancy dinner. had my first cigar. somehow talked my way into a free trip to italy. boobs and beads. barely finding our way back to hotel.
Sat: breakfast in bed. beignets at the cafe du monde. SHOPPING. schmoozing continued with fancy dinner (raw oyster bar, bbq cajun shrimp). drinking. dancing. more drinking. photographic evidence. drinking. dancing.
Sun: barely finding our way back to hotel. headache. asprin. breakfast in bed. check out. flight to denver. flight to LA. taxi's on strike. home. mochi. sleep.
