Yeah, that is fuct. But I've heard California has completely different views of everything than PA does. PA is one of those states clings to old philosophies on the matter. So if either one of the parties expresses any interest in stalling, they are MORE than happy to accomodate. For the first few years, she kept threatening to excercise her right to force us both to attend counseling (which would really have sucked since I lived a couple states away).... then of course there's the ex-gf that dumped me back in October, largely because she was tired of waiting for me to get the divorce over & done with (she assumed that if I was serious about it, it would just be done quickly). Sigh.

Anyways, enough about me and my sorry sorry state. Any word from the breeder?

No, you see, I must go to the cable company tomorrow. The only other option is to go during regular business hours, which is impossible considering my work schedule and commute (I'm on the 5 before 7am and don't arrive back in beautiful Burbank until 7ish pm). And I'm just the kind of jerk who would pay the cable company however much they charge a month to have a non-working cable box.

The funny thing is that I have no intention of laying in bed watching TV tonight or tomorrow or anything. Well, Sunday nights I usually check out the funniest show on the BBC... Coupling... like Friends meets Sex & The City but I digress... I guess it's the point of getting it taken care of.

If this makes any sense, I know that I have a tendency to put things off. Well, I have a lot of tendencies... I'm a mass of contradictions actually - I try to be outward going, but I'm also the son and the heir of a shyness that is criminally vulgar. I do things impulsively, but I also plan things out and work on long term projects. I have this ability to focus on some goals with a laser beam and obsess on it, and I'm also easily distracted. From a variety standpoint it's a blessing lol. From a getting my shit together standpoint it's a curse I think (again, lol). Getting back to the point... I know that if I don't get out early and take care of it, I'm likely to sit around the house all day and not do anything that I need to...

seriously, though, enough of my ramblings (sorry)... great news regarding the breeder. No, it's not girlie to already have a name picked out - I think I had a name picked out for the first cat I ever had before I ever had it, so there. Loki's a totally cool name, too. Considering the rarity of the breed I would think that $1500 isn't *too* terrible, is it? I had been doing some looking around for a sealpoint Siamese last summer and fall, and what I saw fell between $500 & $1000 (and that's a far more common breed than what you're looking for).

Greetings. Sounds like this guy has been digging the memory of you for a loooong time, how strange. I wonder how they take car e of th ehalf a kid? good question, about the song -- today, I'd go with "Heart of darkness" by Pere Ubu/ Rocket from the Crypt, esp. the chorus: "I get so tired it's like I'm another man/ and everything I see seems so underhanded/ I don't see anything that I want/ and I don't see anything that I want" Now that I write that it sounds so unexciting but you know how it is when you mix the words and the music it can be very different -- and it is, this song's 28 years old and still a total burner...

It is Saturday afternoon and I have not single plan...that's enough to make me smile right there. I think Josie & the Pussycats was better than House of Yes...but that's just me.
