I'm thinking about becoming a fireman. Is that silly? Or no.. It would go against my usual tendencies, though I'm just a fire player, not an arsonist or anything. So it goes right in line with fire safety, or something.
I went to a meeting/practice of the san francisco gutter jugglers last night. The head guy seems kinda like a jewish version of my dad, so I think I'm going to stay clear of talking to him.. But jay, christian and steve seem real cool. So already I've met a bunch of people I guess. Fun fun.
This thursday at the spin jam, I'm going to try and grab a hold of sean, which might be hard because I have a horrible time remembering faces, and see if he'll make me one of those light up staves he makes. That'd be cool for the spin jam, and any time I want to practice staff at night without the fire. Its shorter than I'd like, but long enough that 90% of the moves still work.
I've never lived in a city before, and I really think I'm going to like it, I do so far. I must sound like a little kid to a lot of people the way I'm just finding my city legs or whatever the hell you want to call what it is I'm doing now... but hell, in a lot of ways, I am. Lived a very overprotrected childhood, I'm finally starting to discover myself at 21 what most people get in their early teens. I'm coming out of my shell and into my freak self late.. So I've got to make up for lost time. I guess that's a big part of why the big move to san francisco in the first place.
Question of the day:
Should I become a fireman? I'm no beefcake, but I'm sure someone'd buy my calendar.. Insert jokes about my being able to handle a hose... But seriously, fireman or no? I want a few opinions.
