Weee! I'm back...
And guess what? I just graduated Clown School! I'm officially a professional clown and variety performer, so says the freshly framed certificate on my wall.
I'm enrolled in the second year program, so I'll still be training in clowning and circus skills at the SF Circus Center this coming up year. I'm beginning an exploration of juggling with and as music and rythm and dance and narrative. I'm hoping to do things in the medium that no one has ever done. And there's a guy in a circus in switzerland I know who wants to explore the same things... so when he gets back home to SF in October.. I'm hoping he'll want to team up and be my partner.
I'm also doing a program with New College of California called the EPI/CC program. It's a joint venture of the Clown Conservatory and The Experimental Performance Institute.. where I will be getting a BA in clowning! One of the first accredited degrees in Clown in the Country.
Also... who knew this new Battlestar Galactica kicked so much ass?
