I went with my buddy Chris to get his first tattoo the other night, for some reason though I only have one tattoo of my own I always end up being the person people ask to go with them. I think it's cause I've spent so much time in tattoo/piercing shops getting piercing work done, so I've absorbed alot of good info regarding tattoos along the way. Problem is, it naturally makes me incredibly jealous and wanting for some more ink.
My problem is that I'm so indecisive about what I want. But I believe I've turned over a new leaf. I used to always hold myself to the rule of once I'm sure what I want, wait six months to see if I'm still sure. Which of course means I've waited FIVE YEARS to get more ink. I think I've finally settled with allowing my ink to be a "snapshot in time". As long as I find a good artist and put some good thought into it I doubt I'll end up with anything I regret.
So with that, I've finally settled on some good ideas for a start on a sleeve, so now to find a good artist who can put my ideas to reality and I'm back in the chair.
I've got a nice long weekend to do some more research and maybe even go talk to some artists about my ideas, or at the very least get some appointments set...

He's light handed and he works quickly.
When I had just my back piece done I looked at tattoos the same way. Then I went out on a whim and got the back of my legs done after only a few months of thought. It worked out just fine.
