My birthday weekend was pretty damn cool, hung out with a friend Friday night, went out for drinks in Hoboken, got pretty bombed, went in the jacuzzi. Glad I got to go in before it closed for the winter. Saturday night I went to a Halloween party, I didnt dress up, but evidentally what I wore made people think I had dressed up as Fred Durst. lol I am going to burn every red hat I own. The party was a good time until I got cornered by the bird lady from Kids in the Hall . For those of you that dont know ...
It was a bit upsetting, lol she cornered me by the keg for a good 45 minutes, barely taking a breath to stop talking. I was going to hang out at my sisters boyfriends bar after and was so thrown off by this chick that I just went home and went to bed. lol I am not really good at being rude to strangers, I kept waiting for her to either stop talking for a second or turn away. Neither happened. I kept giving her one word answers and inching away from her, finally I was standing next to some dude, and prayed to God that he would jump into the conversation at some point. lol As SOON as he opened his mouth, I did some crazy football spin move, dodged a few people and sprinted back into the house. lol Good times none the less.
Got a few unexpected birthday presents, including new headlight assembly with HID's for the Subie. lol I am still amazed at how I really am in love with this car. I was NEVER like this with any car I owned. Pathetic right?
Its kind of funny how life works itself out sometimes, people are such douchebags and are completely oblivious to their own asshole ways. Life has got a funny way of kicking you in the ass though, karma is a bitch and certain people are definetly getting what has been coming to them, just makes me smile and laugh because they think they are so innocent and when their own bullshit comes back to them, they play the whole "woe is me" bit. lol This is all I really care to get into this, as it is more then a handful of people whose bad karma has come back to haunt them. It couldnt have worked out better even if I hoped it worked out a certain way. Makes me feel like being a good guy about life might still be worth it and somebody somewhere is definetly looking out for me and has my back.
My boss keeps hinting at me moving up in my job and that making a shit load more money is in my future. I could definetly use it, my commission check was much larger then normal, so I decided to do something for myself. I hit up 5 different electronic stores in search for a new tv. The one I had was about 13 years old and had actually caught fire once before, I had it fixed, but the passed few months it has developed horizontal lines across the entire screen and has just been acting funny. Rather then burn my house down, I went shopping. Ended up finding a 42" plasma tv at pc richards for $500 cheaper then what Best Buy was selling it for, so I ran back home, grabbed a fist full of cash and plunked it down on the counter. Bought a PS3 and 2 games for good measure since I had saved all that money on the tv and was fully prepared to buy it at Best Buys price. Now I just gotta hook this bitch up. Color blind people really shouldnt fuck with electrical wiring. Heres to hoping this one doesnt catch fire too. lmao
Went and saw Twilight, knew NOTHING about this movie, dont go to the movies very often, and had not heard anything about this until my friend asked me if I would go with her. Dont know if it was the 50 or so pre-pubescent screaming girls screaming at the vampire dude, the company I was with, or the fact that I think True Blood may be one of the best shows about vampires ever. Anyway, felt like torture and it was hot as fuck in the theater. lol oh well.
Overall, life is working out just nicely, am going to the dentist for the first time in 9 years this Tuesday, have been working out more, cut back on the smoking a lot, got my season pass to Mountain Creek. Life is good for sure, and if anyone wants to go snowboarding or skiing, gimme a holler, I have extra equipment and this is my 13th season going, so if you dont know how and want to learn, let me know
