Soooooo its been a fun week.
Birthday is right around the corner, I have a bunch of money saved, and have a few options as far as what to spend it on, or continue to save. The latter will probably win out until I end up doing something spur of the moment with it. Still dont know what I want to do or go for the actual day, figure it out I'm sure.
Gym and mountain biking has been a nice boost as well, I have lost 11 pounds, I will be happy to lose this belly that has had my mood in the dumps. By next summer its gonna be a whole new game yo.
Driving home from work the other day after doing oil change, tire rotation and alignment on the Subie, about a mile from my house I hear this scraping noise like I ran over a plastic garbage can. It only happened at 50+ MPH when I was on the gas. I decide to drive slow the last mile, and just get her home. Pull into my driveway and walk out, only to find my front lip, (which I spent 3 hours pulling off, regluing and reattaching 2 months ago), hanging off and all scraped up. Luckily some dude at work offered to put it back on and reglue it, only difference is, he does them all the time. lol Bumper being resprayed hopefully this week.
Sunday I went hiking with 2 coworkers and 2 of their friends. We hiked out onto a cliff over looking Vernon NJ. Ate mushrooms, built a fire and bugged the fuck out. Wandering around the trails I came across purple leaves mixed in with the common yellow, red, orange and greens. It was trippy to say the least, kicking them up was even more fun. Some kids showed up with golf clubs and baseball bats with a pocket full of golf balls and we each took turns seeing how far they would go. Standing on a massive cliff you can hit a golf ball with an aluminum baseball bat pretty god damn far let me tell you. Didnt really have alot of visuals, but it was definetly a blast. I laid on a carpet of moss and stared at the swaying trees for an hour, or what felt like it. AND I still have more. lol
FINALLY got around to respraying my snowboard, this is now the 3rd attempt to do so, 2 by other people, and this time by me. I really took my time with it and I think it is going to pay off. The bottom of the board has camoflage, bullet holes and the shark face from one of those old WWII fighter planes. So I went with the idea to paint the top a snow camoflage so at least it would look like it was supposed to be that way. Base coat of white and first 2 layers of camo down, and 2 more camo coats to go. So far I think it looks fucking hot.
I actually purposefully drew out specific things in the camo shapes. I will give one away now, 1 of those shapes is a turtle running and he has a cloud of dust behind him. Can you figure out any of the other shapes??

Went to the tatto shop today to see if I could weasel the sketch out of him and have something to show for my $100 deposit. Figures he wasnt there and I wasnt smart enough to call before just showing up. lol They told me he would be in tomorrow but only for an hour. I asked if they could ask him to leave the drawing behind so I can come after work and check it out. Might actually let him do it if the drawing is really good.
Going to MD to go hang out with my homegirl Adelayde, good times will be had for fucking real!
Halloween is also coming. Decided a really easy costume for me would be to go as an Amish guy. Overalls, boots, a pitchfork and a straw hat. Fuck, my beard is its own natural costume, might as well take advantage now.
And speaking of, I think I am going to give it a serious trim. The thing is soooo damn bushy. I like it, but its too much, I have no hair on my head because of sheer laziness. I can shower and dry my head off and be done. So why do I subject myself to bed beard? (think bed head except on your chin)
