I mean, I really cant complain, I have been at my job for 2 months almost, and today was the first day that it was just extraordinarily shitty. Not bad if you average it out, but this one made up for the other smoother days.
One even stood out above all the rest, this younger chick and her mother come in, I ask them if they need help. She immediately bum rushes me and is all in my face about her radio not working. Mind you, this crazy bitch brings her car in about 40 minutes before the mechanics leave for the day, so I tell her this, and tell her she needs an appointment. At which she starts telling me how far she has driven. I apologize, and tell her she can leave it for the next day. She snaps that she needs her car and cant leave it. I tell her she can drop it off another time or leave it and we can give her a loaner. The fuckin mental patient tells me she is not old enough to drive a rental car. I ask her how old she is, she tells me 21 as tears start to build up in her eyes. I tell her she can drive one of our cars, and that we are not a rental agency. Psycho starts ballin something incoherent, to which I have no obvious response because, I understood NONE of what the nut case had just said. Meanwhile the mother is standing there in awe of her over dramatic daughter and has nothing further to say. Well long story short, psycho goes to get her car so we can take a quick look at it, and my assistant manager starts to rip into me about how I should have handled that better, and that I should be helping her instead of passing her off to someone else. Mind you, I have been doing this specific job for 2 months and had no fucking clue how to deal with this bitch. I rip right back into him and we are going at it while psycho n her mom are watching. Anyway, he came back and apologized later, and my real boss called to apologize again, but it was a fucked up end to a fucked up day to say the least.
