and once again, i was a resounding non-success. and I got jumped. it was a good night.

I was standing in the smoking lounge (read outdoor tiny fenced in piece of asphalt behind bar) with a buddy of mine and suddenly there is a girl there talking, neither of us saw her approach, but all of a sudden there she was. she was in the middle of saying something neither of us could decipher so I asked to to repeat herself. She had been complimenting us on our hats. That fact isnt terribly unusual other than the fact that they were both plain and utterly nondescript. She then procedes to start groping and touching both of us...ass grabs and the like as she continues to slur through her story about losing her friend while waiting for the bathroom. We offer our sympathies of course and offer to help her look for her friend. She responds to this with, "So, which one of you is going to take me home?" My friend and I looked at each other over her head and decided to have a game of rock paper scissors shoot (both intending to throw the same thing every time) until one of us got lucky enough...after about 5 rounds things were going well and we were still tied, then there was a slight miscommunication and I threw scissors on paper. Lucky me. So my buddy, the good friend that he is, bails on me, and I'm left with this overy touchy, overy intoxicated young woman on my hands. I decide to have another cigarette and ask her a few questions, get to know some things about her, like her name. I get as far as name and how old she is (young'uns tend to sneak into this particular establishment) when I feel a hand on my shoulder - Rescue! My friend pulls me away to mumble something in my ear akin to "run, run like hell" I don't argue and as I turn I feel an odd tug at my waist. Our new friend, lets call her Emily, is trying to undo my belt. I quickly disentangled and made for inside. Didnt see her the rest of the night save for one time standing next to the mens room, asking every 3rd gent coming out if they wanted to take her home. It was really sort of sad how much this girl probably just wanted someone to be nice to her, but just didnt know how to go about it....Or she is a rampant slut...
something that hadnt occured to me until just now.
well, Im off to call the bank and my credit card company and the phone company and the DMV. great day ahead.
