So yeah, just now starting to fully feel like I've fully kicked a bastard cold that hung around for over two weeks, it wasn't so bad, only a day or so of feeling kinda crummy, but the chest cold aspect was a bitch to kick. I spent so long sounding like the love child of Mike Rowe and Barry White that I had a moment of adjustment when my normal voice slowly began to return, it's not too noticeable, but it's mostly right again. Car rides singing along to songs is where I notice it the most, my range is mostly back, but my falsetto still isn't back in full effect...but it's getting there. I need to wake up and do X-mas shopping before work tomorrow, these paychecks with commas in them are alright though and they still haven't hit us newbies with the mandatory overtime, which I'm sure will be soon, but as far as I can tell if you play it right you get paid $24 and hour to take naps...so...not too shabby, though I may miss my free time two days a week, though probably only one if'n I don't feel ambitious.
