I really like to cook, I enjoy making food for people I care about, it seems very primal, but it seems natural as well. But there is a bizarre primal joy for me in making bread, I think it's a combination of the sheer simplicity of ingredients and the potential quality of the end product, bread is the staff of life and yeast bless their little monocellular hearts might be the greatest things ever, because they give me bread and booze. What more can you ask from something without a brain?
