Inner Turmoil

I've got a head full of memories That lies can't seem to hide away,
a picture book torn up and locked away, broken thoughts store
that key so far from me.
Phosphorencent eyes still light up the darkest corners of this
mind... of this mind..
When will I gain the strength to walk away, or just choose a side and
draw a line..

You say I'm still young and this wound will soon be gone.
In a way this wisdom is a numbing effect thats
the better part of what we've become... all so young
all so young

moving away from this side of me that flys across the sea.
a book of matches and some kerosene could change things in a way.
still like a ghost in the darkest corner of this mind... of this mind.
Standard of how it is not to be, Simply walk away,
choose a side, and paint the line.
