Sing, Muse, of Doris, curly haired and blonde with sparkling blue eyes
and of Harlan, lanky and awkward, who met Doris on a blistering winters day
in a small New Hampshire city; they were married soon after. They were not
blessed with the gift of child (or so they thought), and therefore adopted Richard,
smiling-faced and cheery-eyed throughout his days. Stephen came later, by no fault
of his own, an unexpected gift sent from the gods above, Doris and Harlan decided.
Richard met Iris, of the unique simper and laughter, and they bore Jenny and Jeff,
two awkward children with nervous laughs and long silences.
Stephen had a temper as hot as a branding iron, but his heart was in the right place,
and he was blessed with the amazing ability to mend many different things.

Sing, then, of Vivian the great creative mind, who met Aurele and fell in love
with such intensity that neither could comprehend its power. They married
and bore six children, the first not living past its third day of life:
Ralph, Rachel, Ernest
Paul, Muriel, Darlene

Rachel, the oldest and most dignified, was very close to her mother
and very distant from her far younger siblings. She married thrice, introducing
Kevin to the world by her first husband, Frances.
Ernest harbored secret feelings toward his own kind, but masked them
by marrying Denise, who gave birth to Kimberly, a troubled child no doubt.
Paul had a young soul, but an old heart. It gave up on him all too soon
and he left us early in his life, but not before giving us Scott, quiet but smart.
Muriel hated her name the first 18 years of her life, and spent the next 18
as Diana, the name given to her middle. She married John, a military man,
but they werent able to procreate. So they adopted Janelle,
a beautiful, frail, intelligent child of tan skin and slanted eyes.
Darlene, the youngest by far, had straight blonde hair and a helpful soul.

Darlene met Steve at the early age of fourteen,
and they were engaged right out of high school.
Yes, Steve of the great fixing abilities and Darlene of the helping hand, were wed.
Darlene birthed three unique children with quasi-unique names.

Kelly Diana, of the Virgoan ways, was born with frosty blue eyes
and a cold disposition. She didnt make many friends, but was happy in her ways.
Bryan Paul, of the balancing Libra scales, learned the temper of his father
but the caring nature of his mother, and was in constant juxtaposition of the two.
Sing, at last, of Nicolle, plain-faced goddess of innocent laughter,
born the youngest, the peacemaker, the kindest of the three.
