my little (step)brother, who is 15, is getting a 17 in english (what the ?!)
and is failing algebra as well
fuckin' spoiled little brat... the only way they know how to reprimand him is by not letting him ride four-wheelers, snowmobilers, etc. and by taking away his TV
my mom never had problems with her own children like this - and if we did, there were better and more effective ways of punishing us which would force us to actually change our ways.
this child will not learn his lessons. he is his father's son... which means he's number than a pounded thumb.
i'm pissed off because my mom is the one who's made to look like the bad guy, because her husband never reprimands his son, and my mom does.
my mom is a good person and she knows what is right for him in the end.
i wish there was something i could do to affect my brother so much that he would WANT to do his work. because if he doesn't want to learn this stuff, he won't retain anything they force on him.
