the internet is insane. technology advancement amazes me. what used to take 3 hours to download now takes the better part of 30 seconds. i grew up on the internet, i was one of the first in my area to have it. 14.4 modem was considered fast at one point. and i'd leave something downloading overnight because i didn't feel like waiting. that was normal back then. and now, i couldn't even tell you how fast a cable modem is. but it's like comparing the speed of walking to the speed of light... apples and oranges. we get annoyed when it's slower than zip-warp-speed. we live in a world where everything is at your fingertips and it gets taken for granted. that's something i refuse to do. i worship the internet. it is my religion.
and now back to our regular programming...
i did nothing all weekend. except talk to my boy. i mean my man.
oh and i walked my dog. and went to borders. and went grocery shopping. and hung out with my friend jon. and did laundry. and cleaned my room a lot. and cleaned the kitchen a few times. and made food. i made muffins! lemon poppyseed. want one? i made chicken and cheesy noodles for dinner tonight... it was scrumptious. want some leftovers?
