How did the shopping trip go?

My whole head issue stems from the fact that the photos I post are more then likely downloaded and I just don't want them popping up somewhere where a potential new client or someone that knows me will see it. Thus the bag theory. It's more of a joke... but who knows I'm creative enough to actually do something with the idea.

I'm completely in your camp. SG sets of late have been so flat, so lifeless. I can't appreciate them, or (mmmph... use them, wink wink, nudge nudge.) Seems to me the photogs from the Lands End catalogue got in here somehow.

Anyways, thanks for your encouraging words as to my new healthy lifestyle. I"m working hard at it, still struggling, but I'm sure I'm on the right track. Why does sin have to be so incredibly fun? I miss my nicotine and booze so much, but I'm happy to be ridding myself of them.

For the record, Kenny and I are estranged. When I hear his tunes, all I can think of is father's belt and that seaside cottage at Lefkada. Kenny was the golden boy, but his soul is as black as my lungs after I spent that weekend in Sofia playing chess and smoking unfiltered Soviet cigs dipped in embalming fluid.

As for your flattery, I thank you, but we both know my journals are less a point of interest in and of themselves, as a virtual salon, a meeting place for the disgruntled and book-bored scions of privilege to voice their complaints and shop their M.F.A stunted writing skills... A fun fact about me: I talk endless shit, but I tend to lose most Scrabble games. Not sure why.

True story: ever been to Gibraltar? It's an oddity all right. Anyway, they have semi-domesticated apes running around, and the tourist love them. So much so that they sell bags of peanuts from push carts all around the famous 'rock of.' My friend Jason committed the mortal sin of eating the monkey peanuts in front of a cunning elder male ape. He took this for the affront that it was not, and proceeded to MUG my friend. He walked right up and whopped him hard on the lower arm. My buddy fled with little to no grace, and the ape took the nuts. Before he climbed the hillside, he looked back at me, and I may be crazy but I swear he tried to flick me off.

i think my life is so much better because of what i do. it helps me try to to live every day to the fullest... me and my husband's motto is to live everyday like were on vacation.

Wow yea, that really does help. I think you got right to the problems here. I do have little anxiety attacks every once in a while when I feel like things are piling up or that I'm being stifled by my environment or something. School started today and walking back and forth from class in the morning and afternoon helps me collect my thoughts and get ready to face the rest of the day. Also I have been a little more withdrawn from the boyfriend, setting aside "me" time although I really need to do that more, sometimes I feel like if I had a creative outlet I would be much happier rather than dulling my mind with TV all the time. I actually did start writing just to get my feelings out the other night and it helped me start writing my papers too and so that helped take away some stress. I think you're right about me being mildly depressed but I don't think it's the kind I need to see a therapist about. Someday I will get therapy though cause some days I really do feel like I need to see someone before I end up in the loony bin lol. Other than that I'll start working out again, writing, and staying on top of my homework and see how things work out. I think I took my 21 year oldness a little too far and was partying too much and not thinking enough. Anyway thanks for your advice, I'm glad I'm not alone in things that this.

So I noticed you dug the last bailey set! If you are interested you can read about behind the scenes info in my Oct. 31st journal entry. So did you notice the burning car? Most people mised it. Its our fun little "plant".

I'm a fan of Shakespear so I think when I see that style of writing in other films it makes me like them more. "My own private Idaho" does fit that bill. Most recently I thought the same of "Kiss kiss, Bang bang"... Dark theme with great comic relief.
