I think it is really sad that in order to win a contest someone would sabotage another person; especially seeing it was for an actual good cause, not just myself.

Apparently someone decided to vote multiple times on the BunnyBoot, on more than one occasion, in order toget the boot pulled.

Not sure if I can or will redo it an re-enter.

Why are some...

That is really crap. frown Are you sure they did it deliberately?

I also wanted to send my good wishes to you in dealing with your mother's illness. My Grandma died earlier this year, a Grandma who was my only and ever Grandma in a very small family and who brought me up in place of my mother for my first 5 years because Mum couldn't handle it alone) and she suffered from dementia as well as numerous physical illnesses and it was awful seeing her mind falter and change and die. I have been lucky enough to resolve a lot of my issues with my mother in the last year and I can't imagine the awfulness of thinking that she might be gone before that resolution. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. frown

LAME !

Wtf, Even if though, if the damn website is tagging the IP address of the ppl who vote so they can bust you if someone votes multiple times, why isn't it tagged so that it will only accept one vote from each address ?
Thats stupid. And lame.
Sorry. I know you were working hard on getting votes for that. frown

Hi,

OK. This boot could REALLY help a lot of homeless bunnies, if it wins. So if you like it enough, please give it a 5 - and get your friends to vote too!

The BunnyBoot

Help save the lives of abandoned rabbits with this super cute BunnyBoot! Thousands of rabbits are abandoned and euthanized every year--at shelters all over the world. If this boot...

Yes I do; I've had several buns! But right now I own...a very stubborn flemish giant named Magnumbiggrin
kekelyn:
I know; I could go on FOREVER about Magnum too.

I totally understand the hard work with buns. I've rescued two. One I got from a school that could no longer have her anymore..and she was a total wreck.. bonding her to my rabbit Floppy at the time was one of the best things for her.

Coral...whom I still get very very very emotional about, I rescued from a farm that was breeding them (Californian breeds) for meat. He was just barely 7 weeks at the time in the winter... but he was by far my most bonded rabbit experience.

Magnum.. is stubborn, and is a total spoiled brat; he knows it. He has a huge condo I made out of those cubes.. I'm just waiting for him to get a bit older and reach the more relaxed/don't have to chew and destroy everything stage. He's definitely a bun that like his own space, and will cuddle only on HIS terms. Hahaha...

I'm SO glad Alaska is doing well in your care; I definitely see why you'd not want to give her up at this point.

I was at the shelter as I take my clients to help socialize the cats there once a week, and this one rabbit is STILL there... I would LOVE to adopt him and the other bunny there; but I don't live in my own house.... it's heart breaking...

Hey. . .

For you out there who do this sort of thing, please say some prayers for my mother. Her cancer has apparently now metastasized to her brain. She is so ill and so pitiful. I am glad she is able to be at her home with Hospice care--amazing wonderful Hospice care--and her round-the-clock caregivers (who really do make me believe in saints). ....

I am so, so sorry. I know it's a very difficult thing. I wish there were some words I could offer you that would smooth the agony.
Hang in there. It sounds like you are doing everything in your power. You have a lot of friends pulling for you.

We are supposed to go out to some lame clubs to do the Halloween thing.

Unfortunately, we are going as a large group* and some people are dressing up - others aren't.

I like i when everyone can be weird or loose enough to dress up.

*Um, that's not our costume. We'll be going as individuals. biggrin

Why are so many people such whining, spineless buttmonkeys?

Srsly.

Just curious.

I mean, in case anyone out there in SGland has the answer.

Edited to add: So far Allegro has the winning answer to this question. And I quote:

And people are whining, spineless buttmonkeys becausethe whine and spine are lube for the angry buttmonkey buttsecks.

Why didn't I think...

Actually, I have yet to have anything I've done performed on stage (so far, they are my little secrets!). I've only written two, and they've both been posted on my SG blog this month. I have yet to even hear other people read my plays so I can hear if rewriting has to be done (that should come first, and I really, REALLY want to hear them now). I'd love it if either of them were performed though.

Thank you so, so, so much for reading the play. It really means a lot to me. blush

And as for my comment success...
