One of my very favorite lady friendies from LA is coming for a visit this weekend and it is making me feel all sorts of giddy inside.
Not much else to report other than this redundant sentiment:
I really love my family. My children fill my heart with such an emotional overload I need a trailer to carry it around. When that little baby boy looks at me and smiles I feel like I might throw up happiness.
I am Jack's boring bundle of satiated satisfaction.
We watched Straw Dogs this weekend - holy crap in a basket it was so difficult for me to watch - I mean excellent movie and rather ahead of its time. But so hard for me to stomach. Certain themes make me so physically uncomfortable I have to leave the room until they pass.
But Dustin Hoffman always wins cool points for his early movies in my book.
Not to mention The Big Sleep was on yesterday - so it was a weekend of swanksters around our little abode.
