When I was a young lassy and my parental figurine was still playing the proper 60's hippie dippie momma, as this played throughout our Oregon commune-style abode I used to sing along whilst playing with Barbies loudly and thusly "LADY ELAINNNEEE" because, you see, I thought he was singing about Lady Elaine - of Mister Roger's Land of MakeBelieve fame and the thought hadn't crossed my mind that she probably wouldn't be laying across Bob Dylan's big brass anything.
