My girl sent me this today. As you may or may not have heard she has left me for a month to visit her Californialand family. The funny part about it is she calls me literally every two hours when she leaves so I talk to her more when she is away than when she is here. You would think she was 5. But she is 14. And this is very poignant. In that, i keep saying..."What the fuck really? Why is it you all think being grown up rocks? Growing up sucks ass." (yep - i am that mom - the one they come to - talk to - whether you wish they would or not). But my biggest issue with these girls has been, why are you all rushing so fucking much?! Jesus, for the ho I became I was such a prude at their age...is all. You can't take it back you know? I am trying to guide them without sending them shooting directly in the wrong way.
