Working from home today while intermittently playing Kinect Adventures with the boy child and Dance Central with the girl child. I am not ashamed to admit that I beat my 14-year-old-hipper-than-me (just ask her) daughter at this:
She neglects to grasp that I took dance all the way through high school and into college even. So crank dat in your pipe and...never mind.
We took this giant leap and got rid of cable television entirely on Sunday. It was so liberating. And, if you follow or know anything about me, this is quite a leap of faith. We got the Kinect for the downstairs (and holy mother of all things digital and Xbox related is it fucking THE RADDEST thing EVAH) and got a Roku media streamer for our room, both kids can stream Hulu plus, Netflix and Last.FM in their rooms as well...saves us a hefty sum per month and forces me to dance my ass off daily for two hours so as to school that gdamned kid of mine that I still rule.
Supreme.
