"I'm not Jesus Christ
I never said I was
I'm just sayin' it because
I can"

~Tres Chicas

I finally watched Walk the Line and I just don't seem to be able to express how many levels it touched within me. Perhaps because binkymcqueen had been turning me on and teaching me - mentor to muse style - all about the Cash stance in life long before this movie made it's debut.
I will say this;
Expression is art is life is imitation is a painting is a piece of history is the reguritation of emotion and the bleeding of pain is the gutter kissing days and the alleyways at dawn perception.
Music captures those that are not afraid of butterfly nets.
Lyrics and the singing of your own can be as bare and naked as standing alone in the mirror without clothes or the "right" lighting or safe arms to envelop you.
Let whatever enraptures you capture you.
Is all I'm saying.
Be true to yourself and your art.
Whatever that art may be.
Love.
Fully.
And without the need to run.
running is for cowards I have determined.
though I ran for most of my life.
Staying takes balls.
And gumption.
And forgiveness.
And the ability to find the you in them and the them in you.
And real life true fucking undying unconditional love.
God Bless those of us who can find the June and Johnny side of that shit.
The Henry and Anais Nin.
The Zelda and F. Scott.
The Binky Cash Mcqueen prevails.
(that would be our son for you freaks who think it has something to do with effing Stephen King and IT)
Peace.
Out.

nocontrol:
I want to confess as best I can, but my heart is void. The void is a mirror. I see my face and feel loathing and horror. My indifference to men has shut me out. I live now in a world of ghosts, a prisoner in my dreams.
