It is so odd to see Irises blooming in the midst of broken glass and piss infested soil...the drunken deities of their environment in vibrant indigo and yellow.

Saturday morning...and the living is easy...go forth young Jedis...enjoy the day.

Looking out the door I see the rain fall upon the funeral mourners. Parading in a wake of sad relations as thier shoes fill up with water.

I've always dug those lines.

And here we see the invisible boy
In his lovely invisible house,
Feeding a piece of invisible cheese
To a little invisible mouse.
Oh, what a beautiful picture to see!
Will you draw an invisible picture for me?
~Shel Silverstein (of course)

That's this Wednesday's assignment kiddies...leave your invisible pictures here...

For all my supposed learned wisdom and forward thinking...some days I just cannot get it right.
Perhaps if I didn't have to be so damned slap happy and cheerful for a living I might be more pleasant in relaxation.
Off to the showers...

People come togetheror so it has been assertedbecause they are drawn to the same interests or ideashence, drawing them to one another. This argument is widely believed amongst those of the married or coupled exclusively. It is their Rock of Gibraltarit is their only pretense that they are truly in love. But the sad reality, is that not very many individuals have all that much...

Goddamnit, I'm jealous! Ahh, I can't do this weekend; I bought United tickets for my dad n me on Saturday, and it's Mother's Day on Sunday.
I love those Philly flea markets. My wallet is from one, cost $5, it's the best wallet in the universe. I think my socks, that I have on right now, are from one too, although I haven't been to one in 6 years or more so I might've gotten them in Richmond...
I hope you're going another time.... ? soon

We landed ourselves a new eggggscellent home yesterday...we move on June 1st...this was cause for great celebration and many shots of tequila provided for free by our grandly cool bartender...because some days that is just what it takes.

Now onto a Sunday of no work, bloody mary brunch and lease...

Took the Princess who was already bubbling with joy from her "greatest day ever" at school to see Ella Enchanted today...man did we have fun (all but for the boy in front of us who had a rather gaseous problem emanating from his being throughout the entirety of the flick)...we laughed...we cried...we sang...and filled her up with chocolate and sent her all hopped up to...

A new day, another cup of coffee, one more djarum, a little Ed, Ed and Eddy and one hell of a collection of blisters forming a colony on my dainty feet - I like to think of them as new age works of art - it eases the agony and allows me to feel all pretentious and what not. Viva la retail!

When I am walking home from work during rush hour - bearing witness to some of the most mentally challenged individuals in this city behind the wheels of automobiles - it makes me glad to be a pedestrian.

I realize this is not nearly as entertaining as my allergic mishap of yesterday but I was leafing through my journal from last year - this was written on today's date:

She dances on
cemetery headstones
She pirouettes on
the lives of the unknown
And I join her in
this fleeting dance
Hopping from tombstone to hilltop
to half-missed chance
We circle and spin
spirals...

I'm very lucky... well, picky and lucky. I have only seen two movies in the theaters this year- Hidalgo and Eternal Sunshine.... Both are very good; "great" is something, I dunno, I don't throw around "great," but both are very good and definitely worth seeing for whatever the rip-off theater price is (in my case, it was $9 last night... plus $1 for mall parking).
I have "gone" to see one other movie this year- Tehran 7 a.m. at the Freer Gallery. It was, likewise, very good, an Iranian film of recent release. I see that Johnny Sokko and Ultraman TV shows are gonna be played at this odd theater/club in DC on 4/24; I would like to catch that, as it's been... mmm, about 30 years since I've seen Johnny Sokko.

I have always loved that one Bella.....she dances.....and the tombstones just get bigger........I miss you..... kiss
