This place has clearly become an enormous waste. It is dead as fucking summer flowers gasping for breath in Autumn in this place. I will no longer bore myself or anyone else for that matter with irrelevant diatribe (or relevant for that matter).
Waste of time.
Waste of money.
Big fucking waste.

So...I don't know if anyone caught it when coldenginelogic posted about this:
The Coolest Thing Ever
Last night after he dropped off his first book he came home and fully explained the concept to me, which I don't think I was fully understanding previously. I honestly think this is the swankest idea I have ever heard. To choose a place to "drop" a book that...

I don't like curry. Don't like the taste of it. Don't like the smell of it. Don't even like the stinking color of it.
I do, however, love hummus.
That is today's random unrelated subject matter update.
Please feel free to share at will.

I throw my curry in the trash for you mama...

why does everything I think about have to be food related? meh

There is this fantastic Dylan documentary on PBS right now - just highlighting the swank days, including some phenomenal interview footage in which his mastery of the poignant shines through as well as featuring a ton of cameo input from various cool cats from his hey day - ferlinghetti, ginsberg, etc. and so forth. Our son is just captivated by it. He completely stops and...

Can it make a sound? You said Yes, I say No.
Does it grow over time? You said Probably, I say No. Can it...

Ohhh ... that does hurt! In my case, ibuprofen offered more relief than morphine! The good news is ... it heals pretty quickly. It was only the 1st day that I was really miserable.

And, yeah, I love my kids ... but I'm glad THAT'S over, too! wink

"The prophet who fails to present a bearable alternative and yet preaches doom is part of the trap that he postulates. Not only does he picture us caught in a tremendous man-made or God-made trap from which there is no escape, but we must also listen to him day in, day out, describe how the trap is inexorably closing. To such prophecies the human race,...

There was a cops special on VH1 the other day. A policeman smashed in the windows of this elderly woman's house to bravely free her from the flames engulfing her house-except it wasnt her house on fire.

I have this very simplistic life these days. I spend my brief moments of quiet "me" time in the company of our outside cat, Betty Blue, amongst the city rumbles and the swaying of our backyard patch of trees in an almost zen mentality...sorting through miles of yesterdays into now...peeling the layers of long past and far too unimportant away so as to move into...

One of my very favorite lady friendies from LA is coming for a visit this weekend and it is making me feel all sorts of giddy inside.
Not much else to report other than this redundant sentiment:
I really love my family. My children fill my heart with such an emotional overload I need a trailer to carry it around. When that little baby boy...

I wish I knew that later on I would arrive at point B. I can't wait to be so far away from this feeling I can barely remember it. Change is certain, it's only a matter of time I suppose.
Thanks for you sincerity kiss it helps. xoxo

Oh yes, Straw Dogs is a once a month viewing for me. Or at least any Peckinpah I can get my mitts on. He just plays so ROUGH that I can't help but respond positively. Same as SIN CITY I suppose. Maybe it's the Irish in me that loves the old fashioned vengeance trips, I dunno.

That pic is downright adorable. I'll be sure to send the boy out a mini-Red Wings jersey stat...maybe one for the ColdEngine, too???

Rain brings out even more crazies onto the bus...crazies apparently do not much like getting wet. They do, however, wholeheartedly enjoy yelling about feet and Trans passes and dirty moustaches from the moment that they get onto the bus well past the point I get off.

Dirty Moustaches...
