My friend Sean and I had a maple syrup chugging contest, that's me on the right. It looked like fun on "Super Troopers", but in reality it was anything but. As soon as the viscous, lukewarm fluid oozed into my mouth I knew I had made a terrible mistake. This was a contest, however, and I had to give it everything I had. Unfortunately, I lost. We had already agreed that win or lose, you had to finish the (24 oz) bottle, so I did. Sean waited a good 10 minutes, then he threw up 4 times. I decided this was a good idea, so I went into the bathroom and tried to make myself sick, but the syrup refused to leave, so I felt quite wretched for the rest of the night. I don't think I'll ever be able to eat pancakes again now.
