Yesterday was my 30th birthday, and it was okay. I drank a shot of tabasco sauce and tequila, 2 things I hate most in this world, and so needless to say it was almost unspeakably vile. I had the disgusting taste of tequila in my mouth, plus it burned tremendously for 10 minutes after, despite chugging a bottle of water. It was a free shot from the bartender though, so I didn't want to be impolite. Besides, I had just worked 12 hours on my birthday and I was determined to start buzzing as soon as possible. It was a Sunday night and so there was nobody in the place except a few people playing cards, so I was able to relax and listen to the music.
I got my tax return recently and bought myself an ipod for my birthday, so I've been spending a lot of time importing my cd collection into it. I have a crapload of cds. Thanks to those who sent Happy Birthday wishes!
