In three days ill be headed to the UK for a few weeks, staying with friends and family, visiting Paris with an old friend, and hopefully gaining some kind of new wonderful insight into the universe. Because my life as it is now doesn't offer much scope. A dead end call centre job taken because i could no longer afford to chase the dream graphic/video job and the bills were mounting. Stuck by finiancial restrictions into the family household where everybody shouts at eachother from different rooms with about 5 tv's blaring at the same time. A town where you know every nook and cranny inside out, and the second something minute changes you unfortunately are the first to pick up on it. So you try branching out, making friends from other towns and exploring their little home-worlds. But my tendrils reach far and my passion outweighs whats on offer.

So off to the wilderness, no plans, nothing. All i have is 3 weeks, a pocket chocked full of cash and an open mind. My goal is to not use the word NO at all. And as depressing as it will be coming back home, it will definately provide me perspective and hindsight. I've recently met a girl whos re-inspired those creative goals of mine, Annalisse. We've been together for close to a month already, and its great. Its easy and its fun, just the way life should be.

So for now, its three days of shitty work left. I won a double pass to go see Snowman @ the Metro, being taped for MTV tommorow night, yay! Then my Bday bash Saturday night where i plan to completely anilliate myself. Get up the next morning, head straight to the Qantas Lounge!!!

Currently:
Reading 'The God Delusion' by Richard Dawkins + Mouse Guard graphic novel series
Listening to - ( ) by Sigur Ros and Neon Bible by Arcade Fire
Watching - A Scanner Darkly and Heroes.
