Today I went to the beach with my lovely partner. I love swinging on a swing set overlooking the ocean. It makes me feel so free. I wonder why more adults don't play anymore. I couldn't imagine ever fully growing out of my sense of wonder.
I painted with oils, I'm trying to finish something I started over a year ago. It is rather large and it's got a long way to go, but it feels good to work on it rather than neglect old ideas.
This morning I got bad news about my benefits and its getting really hard to understand why a jobless full time student with absolutely no income or money is not eligible for food stamps. But a working non student is? That seems backwards, my school doesnt give me living expenses.
But I did receive a call for a job interview. Wish me luck, its a really good job with good pay and a great cause. I would rather make a difference in my career more than anything else. This country and community need more support and help than ever.
