We focus on the pain and strife, it's what the media thrives on. Yes, there are pretty fucked up things going on today, but those are the easy story. There is much that is good in the world, but that doesn't sell papers or get people to tune in to CNN or FOX News, so it's left towards the back of the papers or little snippets on the news programming. I've always been one to focus on what's good in the world, no matter how hard they make it to find.

Scheduling and getting-fucked-over wise, this sounds like my job. One coworker is consistently 2 hours late and never calls to let us know, misses at least 1 day per two weeks (and only works 4 days a week), etc. It sucks, but you can look. It's easier to find a job when you have one!

yes, i've often thought the same thing. we do have some very beautiful
