This was a fun week.
Tuesday night had dinner at El Cholo Restaurant in Santa Monica, it was great because it was 5 blocks from where I work! The food was delicious and everyone was great company!
Wednesday went to the Rainbow Room with Ericallen,lil_tuffy,Maxx,Bean,Shalome,Dixiebelle and her boy Eric. I had never been there before, it was a beautiful place. I would love to rent the upstairs for a party someday!
There are some really half assed pics of both event in my pics section in the phone cam folder.
So I have lost three people at work who I loved working with. It really puts a strain on you saying goodbye to so many people at once, and these three really did their jobs well. I'm going to miss them.
The other fucked up thing about these three leaving is that they wont be replaced anytime soon. The place the allocates money to our department to allow us to hire people has put a wage freeze on all departments. There are 4 cooks now to cook for 150 patients AND the cafe. Imagine all the prep work needed to be done and the fact that you still have to give these guys two days off a week. It's going to be hard for a while.
I'm looking forward to this weekend and next weekends festivities and a special someones birthday next week.
The only stress on me right now is saving $ for prom and keeping my kitchen from dissolving. I'd say thats enough stress for anyone.
