Supposedly, I missed out on meeting Al Lewis at work last week. I can't even believe that guy's still alive, but a co-worker insisted today that yes, he was there, in all his fuzzy-headed glory, and that in fact he comes in quite a bit. I think I'll believe it when I see it, but I probably should, because that's too random a person for her to have made up seeing.

Everyone might be trying to get on my good side by telling me lately that I look smaller and that I've lost some weight. My response is usually narrowed eyebrows and the you-keep-swigging-from-that-jar-of-Crazy face, with a shake of the head. It might be flattering if I wasn't always putting something in my mouth at the time they choose to tell me.



That's such an unusual name... Latrine. How did your family come by it?
We changed it in the 9th century.
