I am so glad to be back home.
Speeding towards New York at 600 miles an hour is a good feeling; the only downside to my flight this afternoon, were the couple dozen screaming, miserable children sitting in front of and behind me.
I love life.
Here are a few of the gazillion pictures I took.
My mother and her boyfriend, Frank, drove me through this little neighborhood in Cape Canaveral, where there were peacocks roaming the streets like stray cats. I loved it.
Here are two on somebody's roof:
And a bunch in front of somone's home:
This sign is off a highway/bridge:
One thing that was really amazing about Florida: the skies.
And this picture is my favorite; the ocean water was bath-warm, which I'm not used to at all. When I went to step into it, I prepared myself for a shock of ice water, only to be surprised by its warmth. Despite the beautiful day when I took this, there were hardly any people on the beach, which I still can't believe.
