Ok so I am not sure where to begin.......

In light of the teaching industry being rather unstable I opted to shift my focus to a field that is still growing strong. I applied and was hired & have been working about a month now in the Oil & Gas industry. I am a glorified bean counter & every day is a new experience. I am up for the challenge & am enjoying the experience I am gaining from this new chapter...... True I sold some of my tree-hugging soul to the Oil empire but HEY a guy's gotta eat.... I see it as my way of hopefully making changes to this industry down the road after I move up the corporate food chain.



In other news, Mandy & I are good & have been dating for over a year now.... It's hard to believe as time has gone by fast. There are the usual challenges of any relationship but things are good & I find having my own ready-made family a situation I appreciate more as time passes.....

I still miss the mountains & the CO river but understand life is about sacrifices & realize I can go & vacation in Vegas like every one else. I just will be doing different things then most people when I visit.
