Anyway, another day, another set of crazy events. A simple day for the most part with the most exciting part being modeling some crazy horse neurons. Woot. UNTIL I got to work. (Disclaimer: If you don't want past events, skip to ">>" that mark.)
This isn't tooting my own horn, but stating fact: I'm too good at my job. I get tasks done in two days that're expected to take weeks. It's really strange. Sadly, as of late, I've realized that my reward for being extremely good at my job is not having any work left and threrefore not being able to come in. So I lose money for being a good worker. My boss has actually advised that I spend more time playing flash games because I'm too productive. Awesome.
Lately I've tried to take him up on it, despite an overwhelming uncomfortableness with not working while on the job; something about it just throws me off. So all week while doing some financial documents I decided I'd do facebook, text, and play some games while doing this stuff. I'm done in three days thinking I've really wasted some time...and the boss expected me to be halfway finished. I don't understand.

So tomorrow instead of working, I get to head north and hang out with friends that I barely ever see with another friend I barely ever see coming in from KC. Well played. I'm one of the luckiest people I know.
