So, i get a message from my friend who is in England visiting her boyfriend. we talk over yahoo, and she tells me that it may be in the cards that either she is going to move to england, or he is coming to the states.

is there a way to root for her staying here without seeming completely selfish? i want her to stay, i want her to be happy... i feel like i'm in a fucking john hughes movie. like ducky is going to show up any second and tell me that he loves me. or, a nerd is going to grab me and bring me into the bathroom to show me a girl's panties.

she probably won't go to England, because of a career she is currently beginning, but you never know. man, that would suck. losing the best friend to the ocean and an island full of unicorns and rain.
