Many equate it with sex.
I relate it more to breaking down barriers between people.
Breaking through the protective layers everyone has. Getting past the fake smile. Or the grIff exterior someone that's been hurt too often tries to project to keep people away. The difference in the person they want people to think they are and their real self. Cutting through to the truth of who they are. What they want. What they think. Not just having them tell you what they think you want to hear or being afraid to give their real opinion.
Sometimes that can be painful. But it's honest. It's real.
