update
It's been quite sometime since I last wrote anything here and even then that was a piss poor update. Life as usual goes in forward motion and I've been trying to tie knots to not get lost in the gravitational pull. let me explain, my head is much more at ease when sounds ring free at a steady pace, the life beat I call it even though I'm positive someone already called it that, anyway, the life beat and when I have to speed up or slow it down I tend to get lost creatively and personally.

I've re-joined The Living Daylights after a lengthy but pleasant conversation with the boys, it's interesting to see the aftermath of situations, if only we could randomly access them instead of having to live through them. We are smack down in the middle of very interesting engagements around the Florida area, so far, fantastic. www.myspace.com/ilovelivingdaylights

Solo show coming up on the 24th at Stardust, my favorite joint to play for free. It's a very laid back gig that brings out some serious roads to travel whenever we've played. I'm not preparing for it technically, just emotionally and psychologically; Thinking about the world, energies, relationships and changes. I'd say this gig will be a heavy one, yes.

I will miss Michael Jackson, never thought he would die and it was very hard to accept it as real, possibly a week.

Amanda Palmer brought to my attention a post by Robert Smith of The Cure and his thoughts on artists giving their music away for free, now I'm a big advocate of this movement but Robert is not at all, found it strange, but only because his argument was that there is a system that works when you play it well. Never thought Robert would say go ahead and conform, but hey, Im not the one who's earned his whole life by doing gigs under a contract and got paid like crazy when the record industry worked for the artists so....

I will still give mine away in hopes of getting people into shows, buying tickets, merchandise or whatever.

seems like I had a lot to say, have a nice day!
