WUCF, the local jazz station, is playing jazz renditions of Christmas tunes all day but I can't seem to get into it. This year is the first time that I am not feeling that holiday "thing" I don't think it has any to do with the retail gig I have for this month but more along the lines of people around me being so preoccupied with life in general, that it has kind of lost it's magic for me. I will say listening to Ella belt out "White Christmas" killed me a bit, so good.
The weather here is so insane, one day it feels like April, the other second is winter again, I am over it!
I've been paying close attention to what I listen to lately, whereas before I'd be randomly allowing my ipod to play, I'm much more calculated now. It has to do with my need for musical inspiration, maybe I should pick up a new creative outlet, maybe painting, even is it is so obvious, most players go into that.
