Jesus Christ there are some seriously racist people out there. Not just people denying systemic racism but people people literally saying African Americans are just lazy criminals whose ancestors are lucky to have been brought here.
Just in case there's any confusion the average African American household is worth 13% of the Average white household in America and we did that, on purpose.
An African American Male is 2.5x more likely to be killed by law enforcement than anyone else.
Over 30% of the prison population despite no indication that they commit more crimes.
50% longer sentences, twice as likely to be pulled from their cars, etc. etc. etc.
Are there worse countries? Sure, should we use that as an excuse to be the monsters we are? Never.
