My name is James Thomas Joseph Elson Junior and my life has never been easy or normal. My parents were alcoholics.
I died twice before I turned 12. I've had half a lung removed, likely shortening my lifespan.
I've been shot(ish), stabbed, beaten, and bullied. I've been physically, emotionally, and sexually abused.
On more than one occasion I've been pulled from a car along with my Grandfather simply because he was African American and I am not.
I've had my identity and my college tuition stolen by my own Father.
The first girl I ever loved died in a train crash with her family.
I've had multiple careers most of them ending with the company being closed down (through no fault of mine). My current job, could literally evaporate within the next six months leaving us to start over again likely losing our home.

I suffer from severe refractory depression, PTSD, and panic attacks.

There are good points, I am blessed that my best friend in the world foolishly agreed to be my wife, I have a number of other dear friends who mean the world to me and for whom I would do anything.

I am, however, extremely broken and it has been getting steadily worse, for obvious reasons, over the last few years.

For the boring stuff.
I've been running and playing Role Playing Games for over 40 years now.
I studied Psychology and Business during the time I was able to go to school.
I've been happily married since 2000, but she suffers from multiple chronic pain conditions which makes life difficult.

My past jobs has included being a McManager, Sales Manager, Purchasing Manager, Ops Manager, Shipping Manger, Audience Development Manager, Janitor, Busboy, Gravedigger, and a few more.

I run the photolithography department at GE Global Research doing process development on next generation power management chips, micron scale machines like cell phone gyroscopes, and a wide variety of classified and miscellaneous projects.

I'm generally liberal on most issues, though always open to learning new things.
I grew up listening to old time radio shows and watching Doctor Who.
I'm well read, having covered most of the classics when I was young and hiding out at the library. When I'm able to focus enough I read non-fiction these days - History and Biographies these days.
I'm Hilarious and never ever sick at sea.
