I've been less active lately mostly because things have been worse than normal nor me over the last several weeks. I've been working closely with my therapist and psychologist.
Work has been rough since I've had to deal with a lot more office politics than previously, not having to play those games is why I left management and became an R&D tech to begin with....

Strength @jtelson !!🙌🙌 A big hug
I was just physically ill which is to say I threw up.
I made the mistake of watching the body cam footage of a police officer brutalizing a 5'0 80lb elderly woman with dementia because Walmart employees wouldn't let her pay for $14.00 worth of merchandise she accidently walked out of the store with. They took the stuff back and she left. Then this monster...

oh please 😓 I didn't see anything on the news (I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina) here you see a lot of cases of police brutality, unfortunately it's really disgusting and unfair

Thanks for this post, I think awareness is important and society has to know, what's going on! I'm also sorry for the old woman...

It`s pretty clear that I missed the setup but going up the street for a burger has a certain appeal about now. They have takeout.

Squirrels kill more people than sharks, pretty much any land animal is significantly more dangerous than sharks,

I honestly had no idea. He never calls, he never writes, I have no idea what he's up to. It's like he's a complete stranger.

Well, that one sailed majestically over my head.
For those that argue that there are only Two sexes/genders please try to keep in mind that there are 6 sexes (as in physical expression of sex, genetic determination is much more complicated as you can actually have XY chromosomes and still express physically as female) and numerous genders, while gender is often viewed as a social construct the roots of it lie in the...

Amazing smart post
I find it disturbing that the people who are complaining about the "canceling" of Dr. Seuss, The Muppets, and Mr. PotatoHead (not happening at all by the way) are more than happy to try to cancel Lil Nas X's sneakers (which sold out instantly so too late anyway).
I'm tired.

Reading this has been the highlight of my day. You're such a great guy, which is a nicer way of saying that I agree with everything you said. How we're ever going to decide which of us more awesome, I have no idea, but we can leave that at least until the weekend. Anyway, it seems to me that most of these things are a result of inherited instinctual behaviors and responses which means that they will only be changed through education or information if you will, but teaching everyone about inherited behaviors is no small challenge considering that NA has been moving in very much the opposite direction. The previous USA election showed the result all too starkly. Those 1 percenters are really not thinking clearly since they believe that a societal and environmental collapse will leave them unscathed. It's important to recognize that the world has never changed except that the gadgets and weapons are better, thus we need to accept that reality and try to be happy so that we remain vigilant for opportunities to make a change for the better. Sinking into despair helps no one. I know it's a challenge but identifying it is a first step. Be well.
jtelson:
@jozsef I waited til the weekend and I'm pretty sure you're more awesome since I'm pretty much a broken human being struggling to keep afloat. You're correct that education is the silver bullet but we need to figure out how to shoot it.

What if I don't have any mud? I hope I'm not in trouble.

Still trying just to get the old brain in gear and my toes are off in a world of their own and don't care. Honestly, it's like herding cats sometimes.

I hear that
