My friends funeral is this Friday. I usually don't go to funerals. I am not a religious person for one. But also my anxiety goes through the roof at funerals and I just don't handle well. I also really don't want my last memory of him to be in that box. I am so torn at what I should do. Whether I should go or not.... I just don't know....

Do what you feel comfortable with. Comfort and a funeral don't go hand in hand, but honor or remember him the way you think he would want you to and maybe that doesn't mean going to his funeral. Just don't feel pressure. We all mourn, and grieve, and pay our respects differently.
