13 hour round trip....yep....
My niece has been having some medical issues so she had to go to UAB hospital yesterday. UAB is about 3 hours away. I went with my sister and niece so they wouldn't have to go alone. Everything went fine. They ran some test and she is ok. We left at 8am yesterday morning and got back around 9pm last night. It was such a long day. I sat in a chair in the lobby while they where in the back doing the test. All day I just sat there. But I am glad that everything is ok and she will be fine.
Tomorrow is my oldest daughters birthday party. I am a bit nervous cause we sent out invites a week ago but have only heard back from one person. I am really hoping she has a great party. She turned 6 on September 22nd but we weren't able to have the party till now.
As some of you may know, me and my wife have been trying to dig ourselves out of a financial hole. We are almost there. If we can make it to the 11th of this month without falling back in we will have gotten ourselves back on our feet and out of this pit we have been in all year. I know there are many people out there with much worse problems but if there is anyone out there that would like to help us even the littlest bit we would really appreciate it. We have worked real hard this year to get out of this hole and we are so close.
