So... Im about to modify a piece of gear to do something it shouldn't and the company explicitly says not to, drilling holes in an auto locking belay device to hold the rope in case of a fall, sounds safe right? ......... RIGHT?....whatever.

I'd give it a nice thorough battery of tests at about 4 feet, but thats just me tongue
