Fuck...I'm lame, I just watched hours of people surfing, mixed with stories about surfing, I cant even snowboard, I'm a goddamn climber, we blow, honestly there's nothing fluid about climbing, especially alpine/ice winning means not being dead at the end, hooray!!! I need a new sport, this sucks. I know I'm getting up tommorrow and dry humping some hideous waterfall, scared out of my mind, trying to make it look easy. I wish I could catch a wave and then lay on the beach, I miss the beach, the beach has crabs, the good kind. I miss those. And floating beer, thats good too. Stupid winter.

hey now.. from a fellow climber (nowhere near your calibre, I'm sure - and I'll stick mainly to rock, thank you), there's nothing lame about it.

well, actually, now that I think about it, it's hard to pinpoint why, exactly it is we do it.. umm, my dad forced me into it when I was 7 - told me it was a blood sport and if it didn't hurt I wasn't doing it right. he always made me buy my shoes a couple sizes too small.. better for cracks, he said..

but you're right. there is nothing at all glamorous about dry humping a waterfall that could, in essence, give way at any moment.. but there is some sort of wierd stigma attached to it.. the fact that it's not possible most of the year.. and you're exerting yourself in some of the most dangerous elements in existance.. meh, whatever.
