Went up the chief today, very wet, very cloudy. Strange scrambling up wet rock through thick fog. Fun though. always nice to sit way up high, and look down on everyone. POWER TRIP AHAAHAHHAA!!!....eehhmmmm....yeah I'm done

the japanese produced a movie with a giant ape on a similar island who fought godzilla. it wasn't released there as ''king kong'' but it basically was. copyright reasons. i had a copy growing up and watched it a million times. godzilla fries his ass. and, weirdly, king kong ate electricity.

Well the whole world is washing away down the river that is my front yard, so time to go visit meeks in victoria, hang out with college girls and regale them with tales from my dull life get drunk and fall down some stairs, and end up sleeping in the rain. On another note, I've learned to keep my expectations very low, works great.

So cold, just got pics back from the summer, so warm, forgot about sandy beaches and warm water. the water here is very still, frozen waterfalls abound. Going to rock out to "The daddy-O of the patio" tonight.

hey now.. from a fellow climber (nowhere near your calibre, I'm sure - and I'll stick mainly to rock, thank you), there's nothing lame about it.

well, actually, now that I think about it, it's hard to pinpoint why, exactly it is we do it.. umm, my dad forced me into it when I was 7 - told me it was a blood sport and if it didn't hurt I wasn't doing it right. he always made me buy my shoes a couple sizes too small.. better for cracks, he said..

but you're right. there is nothing at all glamorous about dry humping a waterfall that could, in essence, give way at any moment.. but there is some sort of wierd stigma attached to it.. the fact that it's not possible most of the year.. and you're exerting yourself in some of the most dangerous elements in existance.. meh, whatever.
