as i walk down this dark road, i stare into the night
as my mind wonders, i dream of happy days gone by
i have put myself here, my time should be done
my battles within me overcome my world
no light, no favor only struggles to overcome
the decision i make will be final, i know
but time is of no use to one with no shadow

i increase my pace, my time is almost here
my date with destiny, come too late i fear
time to end this, so all will be done
